Yesterday’s scripture invited us to be quick to listen and slow to speak. James 3:3-6 reminds us why this matters. It only takes a small spark to generate a great forest fire.
It is easy to look at others and say they are the ones with problematic tongues. It is much harder to look at ourselves and our abilities to control our own tongues.
