First time on the other end of online worship

Our cats joined us for online worship. They found the experience far less meaningful that we did.

For the past few months I have been learning the art of producing online worship. Yesterday I got a chance to be on the at-home side for the first time. It is not the same thing as being surrounded by a sanctuary full of people. That said, I am incredibly grateful for the technology that still allowed Lily and me to participate in the time of praise even as we stayed home due to her recovery process.

Huge thanks to Bobby Garner for a challenging and meaningful reflection on Lamentations 1 & 2. Kim and Jansen did a great job with the music and I appreciate all the hard work that Danny Fraser put in setting up the Disciple Center and running the camera.

Unfortunately, our cats were far less moved by the experience. Normally they have the bed to themselves at that time on a Sunday morning. They are looking forward to having us gone and the place to themselves as soon as possible.
