“Get up and go on your way; your faith has made you well.” (Luke 17:11-19)
Jesus ministered to every part of the human experience. His parables reminded his followers of the need for care for the poor and instructed them on the right use of money. He also provided for physical needs like hunger and healed the sick. Luke 17:11-19 tells the story of one such occaision.
Healing continues in our world today if only we know where to look. Today we give thanks for the medicines, vaccines, doctors, and hospitals that provide healing and ask for guidance on how we too might be agents of healing ourselves.
