“Lord, teach us to pray.” (Luke 11:1)

Jesus’ healing and teaching in the gospel of Luke is punctuated by times of prayer. He would often get away to spend time with God in solitude.

We have the same opportunity in our lives each and every day, however learning to pray is sometimes harder than expected. In Luke 11:1-13 Jesus’ disciples needed instruction in prayer and a reminder that perseverance is necessary.
