Prayer for people of Ukraine

This week Russia’s military buildup turned into a full scale invasion of the nation of Ukraine, unleashing the largest conflict in Europe since WWII. Thousands have been displaced and hundreds killed. People and governments have condemned the actions and are scrambling to respond.

Our denomination’s Week of Compassion is working with our European partners to determine how our church can best support refugees and casualties of war. We will share that information as soon as it is available.

The leaders of Week of Compassion have asked Disciples everywhere to keep the people affected by this conflict, and the leaders of nations, in our prayers this weekend.
