Squirrel protection squad

A handful of minor administrative crises prolonged my stay in Dexter Thursday afternoon. While working in my home office I had the joy of watching my cat spend the better part of an hour growling angrily at the neighborhood rodents out exploring the yard on this beautiful winter day.

Thanks to the deterrent effect of our imposing cat, the back porch has not been overrun by killer squirrels. I would like to publicly acknowledge her bravery and devotion to duty.
