Lent is a time to focus on our discipleship. It is a season where we seek to follow Jesus more closely.

Unfortunately, human beings sometimes turn religiosity into a competition. We often seek to be holier than others, but in Luke 9:46-48 Christ says that his greatest disciples are those who welcome even the smallest children in is name.
