In whom or in what do you place your trust?

When Jesse presented his sons to Samuel to choose the new king of Israel, it was not the strongest or the oldest who was chosen. It was the youngest, David, who was anointed by the prophet.

We have a tendency to put our trust in things like money, power, prestige. These things will all fail us. Today we pray for the wisdom to see others as God sees them.
