“The seed is the word of God.” (Luke 8:11)
In the parable of the sower in Luke 8:1-15, Jesus asks his followers to reflect on what kind of soil they are. He cautions that many of us hear the word of God and respond with excitement, only to fade away quickly. Others cannot hear it all.
Today we pray that we might be good soil, ready to hear Christ’s message, and to respond in faithful devotion.
